Year 1969. Adam is called into the Peoples Army of Poland for military service in the submarine unit of the Navy. Joined by his older brother Antoni, he sets off for the military base in winoujcie. On their journey, which lasts several days, they visit some old friends, as well as meet some new people. Antonis plan is to prepare Adam for the army life
