Grammy-winning American cellist Lynn Harrell makes his New West Symphony debut at this concert featuring works from Dvorak and Brahms. Harrell solos on Dvorak’s breathtaking Cello Concerto in B Minor. The program will also include Brahms’ Second Symphony. Since his debut at the age of 16 with the New York Philharmonic at Carnegie Hall, Harrell’s performed on the world’s great stages, played for Pope John Paul II at the Vatican, won multiple awards, appeared on dozens of recordings and taught at the most prestigious music schools.
