For more than four decades, Oakland natives Tower of Power have been entertaining audiences with their unique brand of funky, brass-heavy soul and R&B. The legendary 10-piece outfit is best known for a string of soulful radio hits in the 1970s, including “You’re Still a Young Man,” “So Very Hard to Go,” “What is Hip?” and “Don’t Change Horses (in the Middle of a Stream).” Founded in 1968 and still going strong, you can see them live when they headline The Canyon.
