Three-time Grammy winning singer-songwriter and philanthropist Sarah McLachlan headlines the first night of public radio station 88.5 KCSN FM’s 2014 Benefit Concert. The beloved Canadian chanteuse (“I Will Remember You,” “Angel”) has staked her long-running, platinum-selling career on poignant, passionate lyrics and moving vocals. She’s joined by award-winning British folk singer Laura Marling (“Ghosts,” “Sophia”). Both of these acclaimed performers are the kinds of artists championed by KCSN, the commercial-free public radio station that serves California State University, Northridge and specializes in rock, alternative, soul, blues and Americana.
