Curly-haired Canadian crooner Gino Vannelli tours behind his 19th album release, 2014’s Live in L.A. The Grammy-nominated pop singer-songwriter broke through in a big way in the ’70s with best-selling singles like “I Just Wanna Stop,” “Wheels of Life” and “People Gotta Move,” and his hot streak continued into the ’80s with hits including “Living Inside Myself,” “Black Cars,” “Hurts to Be in Love” and more. He’s continued to reinvent himself, releasing jazz records and a hit contemporary classical disc, Canto, in ’03.
