Tango Buenos Aires Performs Song of Eva Perón
Valley Performing Arts Center – Great Hall (Northridge, CA)

Tango Buenos Aires, considered one of Argentina’s greatest cultural exports, performs the Song of Eva Perón, an enthralling presentation inspired by the most important female character in Argentinian history, Eva Perón. The company performs a dazzling and poignant dance that traces the fabled and tragic life of that nation’s legendary First Lady. Before the performance, CSUN professors Joanne DiVito and Jacqueline Eusanio will address tango’s history and its global impact in a lecture entitled “From Buenos Aires to Blackpool: The Intrigue and Passion of the Tango.”
