The Martha Graham Dance Company has been described by The Washington Post as “one of the seven wonders of the artistic universe.” This groundbreaking and celebrated company is embracing a new vision that showcases masterpieces by their legendary namesake, as well as works by the influential choreographer’s peers. The company also performs newly commissioned works by contemporary artists. This performance includes a “Classroom in the Courtyard” pre-concert lecture, led by dance journalist Debra Levine (The Los Angeles Times, The Huffington Post, Dance Magazine).
