Comedian and performer Alice Wetterlund has cracked Girlcode: The Internet is plastered with gifs of her hilarious appearances on the MTV comedy hit. But lauded as they are, her appearances on the show don’t do her “non-yelling brand of comedy” full justice. Wetterlund’s laid-back energy is belied by a fierce and uncompromising wit that gives her poster-ready aphorisms and throwaway insights a sharp edge. It’s not for nothing that Wetterlund was named a “New Face for 2013” at Montreal’s Just for Laughs Comedy Festival and has appeared on New Girl, Betas and Chelsea Lately.
