Join us for an evening of ‘firsts’ on Sunday, December 14, 2014, as A Vine Romance brings together North America’s first vegan-certified winery with Toronto’s first vegetarian ‘butcher’ shop!

Karlo Estates is located in beautiful Prince Edward County, Ontario’s newest playland boasting an impressive hotbed of excellent vineyards, restaurants, art studios and culture.
Event hosts Priya and Alex (Sommelier at Lee Restaurant, flagship restaurant of famed celebrity chef, Susur Lee) will talk with Sherry Karlo, co-owner of Karlo Estates, about Karlo’s philosophy and commitment to being vegan-certified.
Alex says, the late “Richard Karlo was a master winemaker who created wines in the old world style–wines that demonstrate the characteristics of the grape and “The County”terroir. At Karlo, they don’t interfere with the natural winemaking process, and their grape-growing expertise is evident in their wines. One of my favorite Canadian wineries.”
