Vivienne Ziner, President of UrbanQuest , a high end property development company, loves her developments so much that she names them after her children! More than that, each child –and development- has its own unique successful charitable initiative attached to it.
Says Ziner” Anyone who is blessed with good fortune has an obligation and a responsibility to help those less fortunate than themselves. I taught that to my children and we implement that philosophy in our lives”.
So Eton Terrace, corner of Spadina and St. Clair, hosted The Living Wall of Hope, an adopt- a hoarding program which raised enough money in a two week period to buy a portable dialysis machine for Sick Kids; Ciara Gardens, corner Walmer and St. Clair had an 8’x12’ Gingerbread House Quest, (featured in The National Post!) also raised money for Sick Kids.
Now,The Jaedon Mews, at College and Shaw St. is raising funds for Therapy Dogs, who “work” and bring solace to patients at hospitals, hospices and to children throughout Toronto.
On Sunday, December14th, 2 until 5 p.m., UrbanQuest and The Toronto Humane Society, are co-hosting Jaedon’s BAKE-A-Thon (PAW-A Thon!) with high end kitchen manufacturer, Scavolini at their showroom at 1220Yonge St.
The cost to participate in this fun filled event is $25.00 or you can buy three packages of PAWkies ($10.00 per pack) and come for free! Kids, accompanied by adults are free!

Proceeds will go towards Therapy Dog training and evaluations.
