Gather ’round the mistletoe, it’s time for a Rock-A-Billy Shake-up! Toronto’s wild rockin’ event giftwraps its stellar 2014 season on Friday, December 12th, with a festive double-bill to end off the year with a bang. Take a trip way out west to the Junction’s hotspot, the 3030 (located at 3030 Dundas St. West, of course!), for the 19th edition of the Rock-A-Billy Shake-up, and get ready to bop! Thrill to the twang of the electric guitar, driving bass rhythms, unhinged vocal antics, and the restless rockabilly beat with real gone live sets by Toronto’s hillbilly jive cats Tennessee Voodoo Coupe, and “nasty rockabilly” hoodlums The Greasemarks. DJ Rockin’ Dave Faris spins sugar-coated rock ‘n’ billy platters to keep the dancefloor hoppin’. Join us for the final Rock-A-Billy Shake-up bill of the year, and get the holiday started in top rockin’ style. Come early, the place gets packed, and dig the big dancefloor, hip pinball machines, and cool taps!
