Martin Scorsese’s classic 1970s drama finds insomniac ex-Marine Travis Bickle (Robert De Niro) working the nightshift as a taxi driver throughout the decaying streets of New York City. An increasingly paranoid Travis begins to feed his violent urges and in the process becomes a media hero for “saving” an adolescent prostitute (Jodie Foster).
