You don’t have to go to New Orleans to do Mardi Gras right. The House of Blues Sunset Strip is bringing together L.A.’s best blues and R&B bands, and serving up home-cooked Southern soul food at the Voodoo Music and Food Festival. There’ll be Mardi Gras-themed drink specials, plus Big Easy favorites like po’boys, beignets, crawfish, gumbo, and a whole lot more available for purchase. With three floors and four stages to explore, there’s something for everybody to chow down on and rock out to this Fat Tuesday. On the bill are Boogaloo Assassins, Chris Mulkey & Deluxe, Ivory Deville, Timothy Bloom, Bo & The Bluesdrivers, Sayed Sabrina, Solar Suns, Michael Colton, Helen Rose and Mister Curry.
