Opening in Toronto for one evening, 22 February 2015 at The Burroughes Building, Byzantine Arts Today’s (BART) The Faces of EROS will display over 30 incredible Limited Edition Archival Reproductions from the works of contemporary artist George Kordis. The exhibition is the North American Premiere of this Kordis collection which presents a series of love vignettes that explore the EROS theme.
This Kordis premiere presents the audience with a rare opportunity to see Kordis execute an original piece of art on the theme of EROS and PSYCHE, a beloved Greek myth. This unique opportunity to witness a world-class contemporary master use the Byzantine mode of painting with modern artistic methods to recreate a myth known and loved by many and never before experienced in this manner is a Canadian premiere.
