This year would have been Elvis Presley’s 80th birthday. Although the world still mourns the loss of one of the greatest entertainers who ever lived, we are blessed to have talented artists like James “King” Kruk who are helping to keep the flame burning. Kruk got his start portraying the King when he was chosen by Steve Martin to play Elvis in the national touring production of the comedian’s Picasso at the Lapin Agile. He has since become one of the country’s most sought-after Elvis tribute artists, capturing not just the sound and look, but the charm and charisma of the original.
