"Working for the Mouse"

Playwright and performer Trevor Allen presents the story of his years working at the Happiest Place on Earth, where he took on the roles of Pluto, Mr. Smee, the Mad Hatter and other characters in his height range, while on a quest for voice clearance and the dream of becoming Peter Pan. His coming-of-age tale includes backstage debauchery, sex, drugs, kicks to the crotch, militant managers and quirky coworkers — all within the realm of the Magic Kingdom. Working for the Mouse was voted Best of the San Francisco Fringe Festival and went on to play to sold-out houses and critical acclaim in Berkeley and San Francisco. Now Allen brings his hit show to Los Angeles’ Theatre Asylum Lab.
