Quattro, the Latin pop-jazz-classical crossover quartet, joins MUSE/IQUE, “the not-for-profit counter-conventional orchestra,” for Infinite/Quattro, a performance and discussion filled with gorgeous sounds, sights — and scents. The Pasadena warehouse of Jacob Maarse, Southern California’s most famous florist, provides the setting for this truly immersive sensory experience, orchestrated by artistic director/conductor Rachel Worby. Latin Grammy nominees for Best New Artist, Quattro defies expectations with their playful and inventive mix of genres, not to mention creative instrumentation, including typewriter percussion.
