Long Beach Camerata Singers: Bach's "Magnificat"

J.S. Bach’s Magnificat is a monumental work, and you’ll experience its true majesty when the 80 powerful voices of the Long Beach Camerata Singers perform the composition backed by resounding trumpets. Originally written for Christmas in 1723, the piece was reworked a decade later by the composer, and it has remained one of his most popular vocal works. Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D Major completes the program at the Long Beach City College Auditorium.
