Former hockey pros Darcy Tucker, Shayne Corson, Wayne Primeau, Georges Laraque and current Olympic Gold-Medalist Natalie Spooner lace up with the amateur hockey players to raise funds and awareness for Toronto’s homeless. . In April 2014, the inaugural Bay Street event was a tremendous success and raised over $60,000 to support Eva’s Initiatives. This year, the Hockey Helps the Homeless Bay Street Tournament, proudly presented by Canada Life Financial Corporation, will see hockey players and pros lace up at the Scotiabank Pond, April 18th with a net fundraising goal of $175 000 in support of Eva’s Initiatives. Games are free to watch.
