Fans of The Tonight Show will recognize comedian Kira Soltanovich — or at least her voice; for over eight years she was the voice of the Phony Photo Booth hidden-camera segment. And her stand-up comedy draws on her versatile, animated voice, too. With a brash, high-energy style, she launches into wacky, sometimes raunchy, stories of her misadventures in dating — like the time a guy pulled a quarter out her ear instead of shaking her hand. Soltanovich has appeared on TV’s Last Comic Standing, 3rd Rock from the Sun and Jimmy Kimmel Live! and was a series regular on the Oxygen network’s Girls Behaving Badly. She’s also had her own Showtime special and is a regular at comedy festivals such as the prestigious Just For Laughs festival in Montreal. Now she hits the stage at Flappers in Burbank.
