La leyenda de la Salamandra: Flamenco Fueled Play
Plaza de La Raza (Los Angeles, CA)

Told through the passionate rhythms of the flamenco, the world-premiere play La leyenda de la Salamandra (The Legend of the Salamander) explores the relationship between good and evil. Miguel Mendiola’s story follows the arrival of a mysterious stranger in a small Andalusian village, where he stirs strong feelings in a woman named Isabel. But as she uncovers certain dark secrets, she begins to wish they’d remained buried. This Bilingual Foundation of the Arts production at L.A.’s Plaza de la Raza is performed in Spanish with English supertitles.
