Leave your expectations at the door and check out new, boundary-expanding works from four talented Latina/o artists. Inter-disciplinary, interesting and sometimes indefinable, these performances will give you a glimpse into L.A.’s vast Latino art scene and leave you with a desire for further exploration. Enrique Castrejon performs A Hybrid Quantified Self, obsessively measuring space and his nude body, deconstructing his own identity through art. Ariel Campos Ensemble performs popular Mexican Rancheras arranged for marimba and 3-19 Dance Art uses the language of ballet, world dance and music to bridge the gap between the lines that divide humanity. Writer and performer closes the eccentric show with Jota Love, a series of vignettes and monologues celebrating the power of queer Latina love.
