Like many Cambodians, 24-year-old Satya Yorm had no choice but to build his home on land contaminated by landmines. One day he deviated slightly from the path and stepped on a buried explosive.

Award-winning filmmaker Richard Fitoussi met Satya as he was rushed into Cambodia’s busiest war-trauma hospital. From there, Richard couldn’t stop asking questions.

Join us on Monday, June 1 for a screening of this poignant film.

Meet and mingle with special guests over wine and hors d’oeuvres, and stay after the film for a panel conversation with former Foreign Minister of Canada Lloyd Axworthy, film director Richard Fitoussi, and Dr. Samantha Nutt (tbc), President of War Child Canada.
