Though stripper Sunshine is the star of seedy “Club Paradise,” her situation is far from heavenly. Her husband abuses her and her “fans” are creeps. But when she unexpectedly encounters a disillusioned paramedic named Nelson, a fragile — but real — opportunity for love and acceptance opens up. Corryn Cummins directs this gritty, character-driven drama at the 2015 Hollywood Fringe Festival.
