No.9 is an arts organization that uses art and design to bring awareness to environmental concerns. No.9 wil be hosting a launch and fundraiser for the Eco-Art-Fest – a summer long public art festival in Toronto’s Don Valley. This year’s festival offers 6 outdoor public art installations, workshops for families and all ages, guided art walks, and a gathering space modeled after a traditional Beer Garden.

Attendees will preview six commissioned site-specific public art installations throughout the Todmorden Mills grounds during a guided tour of the exhibition. Featured artists this year include Tor Lukasik-Foss, Simon Frank, José Luis Torres, Gareth Lichty, Labspace Studio (John Loerchner and Laura Mendes), and Penelope Stewart. An Urban Agriculture installation by the Bowery Project, and a traditional dry-stone design installation by Nick Lynch will also be on view. Patrons will have the chance to meet and talk with the artists and designers in attendance throughout the tour.

After a guided preview of the art installations, the evening will culminate with live music as well as food and drink.

Each ticket includes:

– Two drinks

– A freshly prepared locally sourced meal

– An art tour and

– Live music Performances.

All proceeds from this event will go towards supporting No.9’s art and educational programming.

A $60 Tax Receipt can be issued upon request, for any $99 ticket purchased
