One of the biggest alternative bands of the ’90s, Soul Asylum broke through on the massive success of their platinum-selling album Grave Dancers Union, which featured the Grammy-winning song “Runaway Train.” Years later, they continue to make music and are on the verge of releasing another album, which makes for a perfect time to catch them live. For this House of Blues on the Sunset Strip concert, Soul Asylum will be joined by the Meat Puppets, whose unique sound influenced the likes of Nirvana (who famously covered the band’s “Lake of Fire”) and the Foo Fighters.
