Outfest 2015: Fort Buchanan, a Unique Look at Military Marriage
REDCAT: Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater (Los Angeles, CA)

Uniquely using a script compiled of American soap opera dialogue, Fort Buchanan is the tale of Roger, a melancholy man living at a military post as he anxiously awaits his husband’s return. A New Directors/New Films premiere, Roger and a group of sexually frustrated wives in turn waiting for their own husbands explode in a tidal wave of confrontations and catfights. Beautifully shot in 16mm, Fort Buchanan, directed by Benjamin Crotty is a unique, sometimes dreamlike examination of love during wartime. See it as part of Outfest Los Angeles’ LGBT Film Festival at REDCAT.
