The Doors Tribute Act: Strange Days

It’s a rare occurrence for tribute acts to get to play with the artists to whom they’re paying homage. But the Doors tribute band Strange Days got to play with Doors guitarist Robby Krieger for three years. Using vintage instruments and the latest technology, the talented L.A.-based performers of Strange Days recreate the timeless music of The Doors, whose brief but influential run turned out some of the most iconic songs of the ’60s, including “Light My Fire,” “LA Woman,” “Hello, I Love You,” “Riders on the Storm” and more. Regarded by many as the country’s best Doors cover band, you can see Strange Days at the Grove Theatre in Upland.
