Halloween is on the horizon … which means that Los Angeles Haunted Hayride is back with Boogeyman, featuring new characters, new sets and an entirely new feel for 2015 using darkness, claustrophobic spaces and characters from your nightmares! What could be a better (and creepier) setting for a haunted attraction than the abandoned remains of an old zoo? There in Griffith Park among the dark cages and caverns of the original Los Angeles Zoo, you’ll find an other-worldly carnival of human depravity inspired by real-life tales of abduction, torture, serial killers, hauntings and possessions. The area surrounding the Old Zoo and Bee Rock (a massive sandstone beehive) is one of the most paranormally active sites in all of California — and you’ll be witness to its armies of demonic forces as you travel the trails on the haunted hayride. Before boarding the hayride, you can enter The In-Between Dark Maze, ride The Scary-Go-Round and play in Purgatory, where Theatre Macabre reenacts iconic scenes from your favorite horror movies — and you get to be the star.
