The Obaa Gallery Exhibit features 10 stories written by 10 women, each accompanied with paintings by Toronto artist Felipe Velasquez. The pieces touch on a diverse range of important issues faced by marginalized women.
Proceeds will go toward supplies for workshops where young women will use story telling and painting to challenge gender inequality and empower women.
