"From Bach to Bluegrass"

Enjoy an evening of music ranging from Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 1 to toe-tapping bluegrass hits. Meyer has shared the stage with classical music luminaries like Joshua Bell and Yo-Yo Ma, and pop/roots/rock stars such as Béla Fleck, Sam Bush, James Taylor, Alison Krauss, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Nickel Creek and more. A native of Oak Ridge, Tenn., who has been hailed for his virtuosity, Meyer won the prestigious Avery Fisher Prize in 2000. He has since been named a MacArthur Fellow, collaborated with Ma and Mark O’Connor on a Grammy-winning album and released a self-titled solo LP. Come see Meyer and the talented Los Angeles Philharmonic when they perform at the iconic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
