Hybridity Ensemble is so excited to announce our first concert, Hybridiana: Canadiana Music for the Modern Era! The evening will feature an all-Canadian programme, including works by Harry Somers, Violet Archer, Jean Coulthard, and Juliet Kiri Palmer.
Hybridity is also pleased to announce our special guest for the concert, baritone/countertenor César Aguilar. His opera credits include roles in “L’Enfant et les Sortilèges” and “La Fille du Regiment”, and work with companies including Tafelmusik Baroque Summer Institute and the Canadian Operatic Arts Academy. He has performed with orchestras in México and in Canada, including the Lethbridge Symphony and the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, and in music festivals such as Escapararte and Tercera Invasión Excéntrica. César holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, Opera and Digital Audio Arts from the University of Lethbridge, and was part of the music faculty at the University of Lethbridge Music Conservatoire for two years. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Music at the Don Wright Faculty of Music – Western University.

General Admission: $25/advance, $30/door
Students: $15/advance, $20/door (please present valid ID at the door)
Start-up donations for future programs and repertoire composition will be gratefully accepted at the venue.
