The final entry in Neil Simon’s beloved autobiographical trilogy, after Brighton Beach Memoirs and Biloxi Blues, Broadway Bound follows the adventures of Eugene and his older brother, Stanley, into show biz, where they deal with the revelation of their father’s infidelity by turning it into a comedy sketch. The move starts them on the road to success, but it also contributes to the tension in their parents’ already-crumbling marriage. Now coming to Theatre Palisades, Broadway Bound won two Tony Awards during its initial run and was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in drama.
