For his first time in Canada, Derrick Jaxn aka the Self-Love Ambassador & Author of “I Still Want It” alongside Toronto’s own Makini Smith the Author of “A Walk In My Stilettos” are joining forces to bring you an evening of intimate and intellectual conversations in “The Self Love Chronicles” moderated by Karlyn Percil-Mercieca, Founder of the SisterTalk Group and powered by PR DIVA COMMUNICATIONS.
Part proceeds from this event will be donated to the Women’s Multicultural Resource & Counselling Centre of Durham (WMRCC) dedicated to providing specialized counselling and support to women of all ages, youth and children from diverse backgrounds, to eradicate violence, to re-build their lives, and to enable them to become contributing members of the society. Derrick Jaxn found his purpose in his exceptional ability to impact lives by relating to others through the written world. The former student athlete turned author and spoken word poet grew up as the youngest of 5 in a single parent household.
