In this sequel to the earlier films featuring some of Hollywood’s most classic characters, the Frankenstein monster (Boris Karloff) has been hidden away but resides in deep slumber as Ygor (Bela Lugosi) watches over him. The notorious Dr. Frankenstein’s son (Basil Rathbone) returns to his dead father’s hometown and decides to try to reanimate the monster. It’s uncertain if he’s succeeded … until several townspeople end up dead. See this horror classic at Glendale’s Alex Theatre, a gorgeous landmark built in 1925. Two special guests, Boris Karloff Jr. and Sara Karloff, will attend this Alex Film Society screening.
