Toronto, ON…The Greater Toronto Philharmonic Orchestras is pleased to announce the calendar of 2015-2016 Season. For this season we have prepared a series of five programs with a repertoire ranging from Classics to Romantics, from Impressionism to Jazz.

Under the baton of our principal conductor Jean-Michel Malouf and with the contribution of a selected roster of young talented as well as established guest artists, the orchestra will deliver a rich and challenging calendar of events, an affirmation of its maturity and high artistic standard built over the past seven years.

The opening concert will be held on Friday, October 9, 2015, 8:00 pm at Calvin Presbyterian Church. The orchestra will perform Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, the best-known piece of the classic repertoire. The program will also feature three young musicians, winners of North York Music Festival 2015 performing as soloists under the direction of maestro David Fallis.

Join our eighth musical journey! We rely on your support: buy tickets, promote your business and donate so that we can continue to produce top-quality and affordable performances for all audiences.
