About CCAFT
CCAFT is an annual circus festival in Toronto dedicated to the exploration of contemporary circus arts from a multi disciplinary perspective. Our objective is to create a forum for discussion, education opportunities and to showcase innovation in performance. This year the festival focuses on alternative artistic processes, how we create art and are building community! We are integrating many social spaces into our programming so we can spend time together exploring ways to engage and connect through community.
Over the four days of the festival, we will have an evening with Circus Now, a discussion on community building with community leaders and a community brunch with the national circus organization, En Piste. We are offering master classes in a variety of circus & movement disciplines with instructors from across Canada and the U.S. as well as health & safety workshops from experienced professionals. We will have participants at the festival from throughout Canada and the United States.
