Kick off Mental Health Awareness Month right as award winning actress and comedienne, Shelley Marshall, brings her nationally acclaimed one woman show to a Toronto high school. Nominated “Best Female Stand Up” by the Canadian Comedy Awards, Marshall has written and delivers a brilliant night of entertainment in her story of triumph over tragedy. While the show is hilarious, it also addresses with raw honesty the impact of three generations of family dysfunction and the desperate downward spiral that can quickly spin out of control. In the end, the show brings much needed hope, healing and empowerment. Afterward, Marshall will hold a talk back session for anyone who wants to attend. Tickets are offered at the reduced rate of $10 to raise money for Health and Wellness Initiatives at the Etobicoke School of the Arts.
