"Lend Me a Tenor"

Loaded with saucy innuendos, mistaken identities and slamming doors, Ken Ludwig’s Lend Me a Tenor opens on the eve of a gala opera fundraiser in 1934. When the world-famous Italian superstar set to headline the event suddenly becomes, um … unavailable, the show’s impresario must scramble for a replacement. The ensuing confusion quickly turns into a hilarious screwball comedy that was a smash hit on Broadway. With three Tony Awards and subsequent productions in 25 countries, Lend Me a Tenor now comes to Azusa Pacific University’s Warehouse Theater.
