In collaboration with the Institute of American Indian Arts and presented by the United States Consulate General in Toronto, the Gardiner presents a panel discussion that explores both Canadian and American perspectives on the visual arts practice of Indigenous artists. This special talk will be moderated by Andrew Hunter, Curator of Canadian Art at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), and features artists Kent Monkman, Dolleen Manning, Joanna O. Bigfeather, and Jim Rivera in conversation.

This is Monkman’s last artist talk at the Gardiner for his exhibition The Rise and Fall of Civilization.
