The duo of Evan Cartwright Tasseomancy and Brodie West Eucalyptus, Drumheller, while improvisational, is oriented along its own specific trajectory. Soft, iterative gestures drift through the musical scenery, transforming in both subtle and more blatant ways. Ways is hypnotic but rather than lulling the listener maintains a state of constant, albeit gentle, suspension.

Caitlin Woefle-O'Brien's songs manage deep emotional resonance but feel like they're about to disintegrate. The porous arrangements and hushed singing hover on the threshold of tangibility but emit an irrefutable and haunting presence.
