OkStupid is back to celebrate the most frustrating/funniest aspect of finding love online! In honour of Valentine's Day we are having an open-mic style live reading of our best worst online dating conversations. Handlebar was a little too small for last years OkStupid so this year we're having TWO nights of readings, February 9 and 10 from 7 – 10.

Most people who have ventured to the internet to find love have experienced the absurdity that can be online dating. The anonymity of the internet gives some suitors the confidence to be inappropriate in ways that only the most socially inept would attempt in person, and the resulting conversations are so appalling they're hilarious. On February 9th and 10th you are invited to Handlebar to perform your best worst conversations. If we're going to be subjected to the worst of humanity we may as well have some fun with it!

We'll have a couple of actors on hand to step in and play the parts of the antagonists for lack of a better word with you. Have your hilariously awful conversations ready to read on your phones, print them out, or PM them to Stephanie Avery so she can print them out for you.

OkStupid is for folk of all genders and orientations. This event is not limited to OkCupid. We welcome terrible conversations from Plenty of Fish, Grindr, Tinder, Scruff, Christian Mingle, JDate, and any other technology-based love-finding platform.

This year we're having a suggested cover of $5 with event proceeds going toward a great cause to be announced.
