NEW BEGINNINGS will highlight the works of Toronto based artists working in a wide range of mediums. Exhibiting a myriad of styles, including illustrative, representational, “lowbrow”, pop art, urban, and experimental art, the opening exhibition aims to showcase the diversity of the Toronto art community at large. Join us at the opening reception February 11th from 7pm – 11pm at 1266 Queen St W.
“Northern Contemporary will work with a wider range of artists than Toronto has seen before to bring you all kinds of events and exhibitions to promote Toronto’s already-thriving art community,” says Emily May Rose, owner and curator of the gallery. “NEW BEGINNINGS aims to showcase the essence of the gallery and I’m proud of its commitment to bringing significant contemporary work to the city.”
Artists in the exhibition will be available to discuss their work. NEW BEGINNINGS is curated by award winning illustrator and Co-founder of Northern Contemporary, Emily May Rose.
This exhibition will run until February 23rd, the gallery and retail space is open Wednesday – Sunday from 11am – 5pm.
