In 2001, when five year old Meagan Bebenek lost her life to brain stem glioma, her mother, Denise, established Meagan’s Walk: Creating a Circle of Hope.

Brain tumours are the leading cause of cancer-related death in children. We at Provo Foodbar hope to put an end to that. Please join us on our grand-opening day to support Meagan’s Walk in promoting awareness of paediatric brain tumours and to raise funds to help further research.

100% of all food proceeds on Wednesday, February 10th, will be donated to Meagan’s Walk and will directed to SickKids to help support The Arthur and Sonia Labatt Brain Tumour Research Centre (BTRC) in Toronto.

WHEN: Wednesday, February 10th, 2016 from 12:00 PM to close

WHERE: Provo Foodbar (308 Dundas Street West)

To find out more information, to donate, or to find other ways to get involved, visit www.meaganswalk.com and while you’re there, don’t forget to register for Meagan’s Walk on Saturday, May 7th, 2016.
