Presented by Waterfront Toronto and Quebec Original

This March Break, Canada’s Sugar Beach (Jarvis and Queens Quay) is being transformed into a Quebec-style cabane à sucre, complete with maple taffy on snow. Live musical performances by local French artists Stef Paquette, Amélie et les Singes Bleus, Cindy Doire and Mélanie Brulée will be capped off on Sunday with a traditional French Canadian folk group. Choir! Choir! Choir! will also lead a massive outdoor sing-along on March 12. Food trucks will serve up Quebecois favourites and hot drinks. Local tavern Against the Grain, located at Corus Quay, will have its water’s edge patio open all weekend for drinks and meals. Maple syrup cooking demonstrations and ice carving demonstrations are scheduled for both days. Ride the Sugar Shack Shuttle from Union Station and the Distillery District. Parking also available on site. Full schedule of performances and activities, plus shuttle details, will be available at sugarshackTO.ca.
