This month I have received a couple gallons of coconut oil (by donation) and have produced over 60 shampoo bars to give away for FREEEEEEE! The goal of this project is to swap Torontonian’s half used pharmaceutical/salon shampoo for a bar of all natural coconut oil shampoo. Other than the traumatic separation of your beloved herbal essences, the shampoo bar is free. The 50-80 half used shampoo products will then be mailed to the head offices of the shampoo companies along with a letter asking them to consider what they put into their products and to be mindful of the health of the environment and their customers.
The shampoo is MADE! The date has been set- April 14th @ Rooster Coffee House 479 Broadview Ave, 7am-until we run out of shampoo 🙂
Want to get involved? I’m looking for local (Ontario) soap and cosmetic makers to promote at this event to support the all natural movement.
Don’t have shampoo to trade? There will be a donations jar on site to assist with the costs of mailing the shampoo to the manufacturers post event. Make a donation for your bar of shampoo.
