Bid time on art and support great causes.
Timeraiser, Toronto’s annual art auction party, returns once again to the beautiful Power Plant Contemporary Gallery on Saturday, May 28.
For its 13th year, the crew at Framework has assembled some of Canada’s greatest emerging contemporary artists for another wild evening of art and social good.
This is your chance to start the art collection you’ve always dreamed of and help support great causes.
For the gorgeous and uninitiated:
THE CONCEPT
Bid volunteer hours on one of the 40 contemporary art pieces up for auction. Winners have up to one year to fulfill their commitment with a non-profit organization of their choosing. Don’t know where to put those hours to good use? Over 15 non-profits will be hanging out with us all night—discuss their missions over a glass (or two) of wine.
THE PARTY
After the auction is complete, the Power Plant will be transformed into another one of our infamous dance parties. Ass shaking guaranteed: exhibit your gloriously fine self in the gallery spaces with music provided by the one and only DJ James Redi.
Did we forget to mention the food trucks we’ll have stationed on the patio? Come hungry for some tasty eats.
