Easy, gender-neutral social dance for all! William Shakespeare turned 450 in April, and we threw him a party. Now it's time for another one, so we're going to party like it's 1564!

The group social dances of Bill's time are the ancestors of Jane Austen's. Gorgeous music and beautiful patterns, some lively, some elegant. Come and join us — all welcome.

No partner or dance experience necessary: the mini-workshop at the beginning of the evening gives you the terminology and structures specific to this dance form.

Please note that this event is completely fragrance-free.

Recommended footwear: flat-soled dance shoes or old, well-worn running shoes (no high heels allowed). Please bring your own reusable cup or water bottle, and dress lightly — we'll get warm dancing!

Historically appropriate treats will be served at the break.

10 / 7 for students and seniors
