Party in the halls with no detention! Get ready for the fourth annual back-to-school creative blowout to benefit Artscape, October 20, 6 – 10 pm.
Co-chairs Helen Burstyn and Sonja Smits invite you to join them and 400 fellow “students” at Artscape Extravaganza. Guests will embark on a back-to-school adventure featuring classes led by professional artists. You’ll find glee club, art history, phys ed, theatre and much more. Get ready to flex your creative muscles and party in the halls.
Proceeds raised will leverage art, culture and creativity to catalyze positive change through Artscape’s creative placemaking projects, programs and services, which benefit the lives of artists and the vibrancy of our communities and make our city a better place to live, work, play and invest.
We’ve pulled out all the stops to offer a unique immersive experience that showcases Artscape’s energy and creativity. No need to pack a lunch, as we’ve planned a unique feast that includes hors d’oeuvres, gourmet food stations, an open bar and signature cocktails.
