On Thursday July 1st at 10:25 PM, Police observed a pickup truck travelling northbound on municipal road # 80 in McCrea Heights at a high rate of speed. A traffic stop was conducted in a well lit area in McCrea Heights. The driver when questioned indicated that he had no driver’s license on him, but verbally said his name.

Upon investigation of the paperwork for the vehicle and record checks, it was learned that the driver was not who he said he was. He was the brother of the person he identified himself as. He was in fact a suspended driver and had court ordered conditions. Police approached the driver advising him he was under arrest for drive while under suspension and breach of recognizance. He started the vehicle. He was told not to do it by the officers who were forced to jump back into traffic as he sped off in a dangerous and reckless fashion.

Police returned to their cruiser but were unable to locate the vehicle. The driver’s address was checked but he did not return there. Over the past two days officers have attempted to locate this party but he is evading police.

Wanted in this incident is Michel FAUVELLE (28Sep70) of 66 Alma St., Hanmer, ON.

He is wanted for Breach of Recognizance, Driving while under suspension, Dangerous Driving, Flight from a Police Officer, Personation and Resist Arrest.
